declaration of faith

1. The bible is the inspired word of God.  II Pet. 1:20 - 21

2. Only one God eternally manifested in the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I Jn. 5:7

3. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and

        born of Virgin Mary.  I Jn. 4:9, Mat. 1:20 - 21

4. That Jesus was crucified, buried, resurrected from the dead, and is now at the  right hand 

     of the Father.  I Cor. 15:3 - 4, Heb. 12:2

5.  All have a sinful nature and have come short of the glory of God.Rom. 3:23, 5:12

6.  You must come through Jesus who is the only way to salvation.  Jn. 14:6

7. Not by our own works but through faith in Christ being raised from the dead and

      through sincere repentance, we have redemption through Christ’s blood and             

      forgiveness of sins.  Rom. 10:8 - 10, Eph. 1:7, 2:8 - 9

8.  Immersion in water in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins.  Acts  2:38

9.  The baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Acts 2:4

10.  Sanctification thru the Holy Ghost and word of God.  II Thess. 2:13, Jn. 17:17

11.  Holiness is the standard and way of living of all.  Heb. 12:14, I Pet. 1:15 - 16

12.  Divine healing through faith in God according to the word.  Jam. 5:14 - 16

13.  In the Lord’s supper with washing the saint’s feet.  Jn. 13:4 - 17

14.  In the operation of the gifts of the Spirit.  I Cor. 12:4 - 11

15.  Women have the right to speak as oracles of God.  Luke 2:36 - 39, I Cor. 16:19

16.  The institution of marriage is ordained by God Almighty and it is a sacred covenant solely between a man and a woman.  Gen. 2:18 - 24, I Cor. 7:1 - 2

17.  Freedom in the Spirit to rejoice and praise the God of our salvation.Ps. 150:1- 6

18.  The second coming of Christ for the righteous dead and alive to eternal life and the wicked to eternal judgment.  I Thess. 4:14 - 17, Rev. 20:11 - 15
